I believe that life is a gift from God, so when Candice contacted me to photograph her maternity session, I couldn't resist the precious opportunity. This loving pair is expecting their baby girl any day now and she will be the light of their life. At nine months, they have so much to be thankful for. It's a blessing to be surrounded by wonderful family and friends that are just as excited as they are to welcome a new life into the world! After spending some time with them, I could feel their anticipation and excitement as they eagerly await the day they can hold their little girl. Isn't Candice just radiant?! We shot these at a lookout near the Scarborough Bluffs. The mother-to-be has quite the eye for scouting the perfect location! Thanks again you two! :-)

I love this sweet couple and once you scroll down you'll see why. You may remember them from the preview I posted a few weeks ago. I feel so lucky to have had the chance to shoot their maternity portraits for them. A special thanks to the lovely Samora for hooking us up last month. Sara and Savoeuth are expecting their first little one very soon and these pictures only scratch the surface of this playful and loving family. They even brought along matching black Converse Chuck Taylors for themselves and tiny pink ones for their baby girl! Adorable!!

I'm shooting at a wedding in the morning, but I couldn't sleep without sharing a preview from a shoot I did this past week. It won’t be long before this little baby bump makes a mommy and daddy out of this sweet couple!

I am always amazed at how fast babies can grow! I am telling you the truth when I say that if feels like I took Joanne's [maternity] and then [newborn baby] portraits yesterday.

James' baptism was a very special day as his family came out to share in the sacrament of baptism. But what made it even more special was the fact that he was baptized in the same church that I was baptized in. I don't think I have been inside St. Barnabas since then and it was a pleasure to return for this special occasion. Here are a few of the highlights from the day.
